Dreamweaver

So why did they call it Dreamweaver I think it should be called Nightmare knitter. Opened it up and couldn't make head nor tail of it. A couple of hours with Edmund and it's starting to make sense but still along way to go. Solving problems is the best way to learn but when you've got about 50 of them it gets rather daunting. Why does the template not make all the pages the same, why does the sidebar keep changing and just when you think your getting somewhere have a look at the page in IE oh dear!

Massive meteors

Does anyone read blogs anymore? I think Facebook has taken over. I haven't got into Facebook I think I'm a bit old to spend hours flicking from person to person seeing who's talking to who and that, at least that what it seems people do on Facebook, it all seems a bit voyeuristic. At least it certainly feels voyeuristic when I find someone has left their Facebook page open on my computer and I go in and have a look around. I suppose that should feel voyeuristic since that's exactly what it is, oops.
I say no one reads blogs but that's obviously not true after last weeks party revelations. Oh and if anyone is reading this those rumours about me finding students partying on teachers hill aren't true.
I've got a new project on the go. I thought that my publishing days were over, one half of a book (just over half actualy) was enough to put me off writing for ever. Funny thing is that after a couple of month of no writing I'm starting to miss it, along comes project number 2. I'm writing some stuff about the use of ICT in physics teaching for the IB. I thought it was just writing some text that would be turned into a website but it turns out I'm designing the site too. That will make Thomas laugh. So it's a bit of a challenge but I've a lot of support from folks here so should be ok. Plan to include instructional videos and some other neat stuff.

I've started reading "A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson. Interesting, especially the stuff about being hit by a huge meteor that would kill everyone almost instantly. Funnily enough it doesn't really bother me. If I die plus everyone that I know then there will be no one to mourn me and I won't mourn anyone else, sort of symmetric.

This picture isn't a massive meteor but it is a big boulder. Per found it in the woods. I wish I had found it, look how nice and shiny it is,
